Aastik Bhatt is an author, a doctor, a philosopher, and a standalone researcher. Born on 22nd November 1988 in a lower middle class family, he spent most of his childhood reading numerous books on Science, Philosophy and History as well as writing some poems, short stories and hypotheses of his own. At the age of 17 years, Aastik Bhatt began writing his first serious project and published a fiction novel titled "Life Is After All Life" in 2009. In 2011 he completed his medicine degree and became a doctor. He also wrote a theoretical research paper on Artificial Intelligence in 2012, and since has been working on some AI projects.
At the age of 18 years, Aastik Bhatt decided to understand different aspects of the society, and traveled across various parts of India alone between 2007 to 2010. In his mission to explore lives of different people, Aastik Bhatt spent many days and nights over footpaths, tunnels and railway stations with minimal financial resources. He also suffered severe malnutrition for the duration. According to author, those journeys helped him to gain unimaginable experiences and he learned many important lessons of life he couldn't have otherwise.
Aastik Bhatt is currently working as a Medical Officer for Govt. of Gujarat in rural area. He is also writing his second novel and is expected to release it by end of 2015.
